Meet Our Staff...

Margaret (Culbreath) Carrasquillo - Director

I was born and raised in Camden NJ, graduated from St Joseph High School and obtained an Associates of Science Degree in Human Services/Early Childhood from Camden County Community College. My work in Early Childhood Education began in August of 1976 in Columbus, GA as an Assistant Intake Worker.

Early Childhood Experience

  • Camden County Office of Economic Opportunity Head Start, Preschool Group Teacher, 4 years
  • Martin Luther King Child Development Center Preschool Group Teacher, 13 years
  • Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Program Camden City, Program Director

At Martin Luther King Child Development Center, I was part of a team that attained accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This was the first center in Southern NJ to attain this national recognition.
During my time at Early Head Start, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Development online with Concordia University, St Paul, MN. I started out as an Infant/Toddler Teacher, was promoted to other management positions, and eventually served as the Program Director.

Hearing about Education Partners, LLC and viewing 20 Cobblestone Lane, I immediately saw the potential to create the Early Learning Academy. I felt I was in the right place to continue my journey in my chosen field. I have put all the knowledge, professional experience, and personal experience acquired from my 30 + years of working in the field to design this quality childcare program.

Lisa Padgett -Assistant Director/Head Teacher

I am extremely excited to be a part of the staff at Education Partners Early Learning Academy!  The program offers an excellent curriculum and a facility that was created to meet the needs of the children.

I graduated from Rowan University in 2004 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology.  During my student teaching, I taught in a kindergarten classroom at the Broad Street School in Gibbstown.  From 2001-2006, I was employed by the Tutor Connection, where I held a variety of positions including after school program teacher, summer camp counselor, lead preschool teacher, home tutor, and lead teacher for the Kindergarten Enrichment Program.  From 2006-2008, I worked as a special education assistant at the Westend Memorial School in Woodbury.  I have seven years experience working with children of all ages.

I would like to help children and families achieve their goals.  I want the students to establish a love for learning, to pursue their interests, and to apply what they have learned in their lives to better understand their world.  The dedicated staff and brand new facility at the Early Learning Academy creates the perfect environment for children to begin their educational experience.  Parents can rest assured that their children will be receiving the best care and all the attention they both need and deserve!
